Hi,
Thank you for splitting the file, but is it possible to get it splitted by uploader ?
Actually versions 1-2 (up to 2019-07-04), with the lozenges straight, must be splitted from 3-5…

OK, I unsuccessfully tried to modify structured data on file-(3), then I nominated it for deletion; also I tried to move it, unsuccessfully…

I mean if the deletion of 'Blason famille fr de-Lichy (3).svg', which currently stands in Category:Other speedy deletions, works, then there is no need to restore the version Blason famille fr de-Lichy (2).svg as I have backed-up my versions's source svgs --Kontributor 2K 14:32, 26 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Sreejithk2000: Hello and thanks for taking the time to teach me how to do a split. If this is what I need.

I am the uploader of this file. Due to a wrong numbering, I recently uploaded the correct image. What I would like to do is "delete" the old image from the File History. Namely, the image uploaded in 9 January 2016, proved to be the wrong number. So, I uploaded the correct image on 26 February 2025.

Can you delete the old image from the File History? What should I do if I wanted to make this automatically?

I understand that there must be some time before all the thumb images in other pages appear correctly. Please, let me know if this is so.

Only File:Aspiotis 195.jpg is not correct. It should be another image. Shall I upload it and then ask you for a split again?

@Sreejithk2000: I tried. But at the end I got a message that the file I tried to upload is exactly identical to the existing one.

But, when I click on the file image I see the previous image which you have deleted. I tried to download File Aspiotis.195 and it was the correct image.

So, shall we wait for a bit to see if things get right as time passes?

Is there a way to refresh all the images, so that they show the current version?

In the process of spliting the above images, I noticed that a file has remained, which I think sould have been deleted. Namely File:Aspiotis 192 (2).jpg.

Do you think that it is easy to delete it all together?

Complicated histmerge question

Hello! I'm asking this question on your talkpage because you seem to be the most active at COM:HMS – File:Run-this-town.jpg was imported from en, but a higher resolution version is in the deleted history of the enwiki file. If I undeleted the high-res version and exported it to Commons (under a different name), would it be possible to histmerge the high-res version into the main file? DB issue

Hello,
I just found that there is again a DB issue, this time on the just-splitted Trinidad and Tobago CoA:
For an example, removing/adding SDC values works on the original one, now File:Coat of arms of Trinidad and Tobago (2).svg (I did), while modify License, author, date, etc. doesn't work on the splitted file, now File:Coat of arms of Trinidad and Tobago.svg (which by the way, would need to be overwritten by its actual creator - whose name is filled back in description),

Ok, there is a mess: after testing it appears that when I remove structured data on the new file, it actually does remove it on the former one (2)…

Do you think that it could be relevant to delete & redirect Coat of arms of Trinidad and Tobago.svg to Coat of arms of Trinidad and Tobago (2).svg, as the actual uploader would, anyway, need to upload a new version of their file?

Coat od arms of Trinidad and Tobago

Goodmorning. I'm sorry to disturb you again, but it seems that you deleted the last version in this page [1], which is now a redirect. That version had been uploaded by HapHaxion. It was not a scaled down version of the same file, since the republic of Trinidad and Tobago substituted their coat of arms whit a new one in Frbruary. HapHaxion realized the new coat of arm at this aim (The three ships in the shield had been substituted by a musical instrument, a gold disk). Please, could you undelete it?
